Greg Sherrill

Greg Sherrill has been with the University of Tennessee since 2016 as the Federal Work-Study Coordinator with the UTK’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Mr. Sherrill is a member of the National Student Employment Association and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.  He manages the Federal Work-Study program which employs approx. 1,000 students in any given year.  Prior to coming to the UTK, Mr. Sherrill served as Executive Director of the Tennessee Press Association from 2002-2016, the industry trade association representing Tennessee’s newspaper industry. His background includes human resources management, communications, public relations, journalism, and meeting planning and his hobbies include travel, skiing, and running.
